Working on this project will help me along with programming for future research activities as eventually I would like to conduct severe weather research using an emphasis in computer programming.   This project also helps me in my development of the scientific research process and dealing with problems that may arise as a result.  I want to learn as much as possible from the people I will be working with in hopes of helping me prepare for conducting my own research someday.
