My research is about verification of ensemble stream flow forecast products. The National Weather Service operates several river forecast centers across the United States. The North Central River Forecast Center issues stream flow forecast products for most of the rivers and streams in Iowa, including the Cedar and Iowa rivers. By participating in the Flood Research Center activities, I hope we can provide an easy way for people across Iowa to understand the National Weather Service products, as well as the confidence measures for these forecast products.
