My research is about verification of ensemble streamflow forecast products. The National Weather Service operates several river forecast centers across the US.  The North Central River Forecast Center issues streamflow forecast products for most of the rivers and streams in Iowa, including both the Cedar River and Iowa River.  I hope by participating in the Flood Research Center activities that we provide an easy way for people across Iowa to understand the products of the National Weather Service as well as confidence measures for forecast products.
