Interpretation of Long Range Forecasts

Dr. Allen Bradley, Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Research Engineer with IIHR-Hydroscience & Engineering, will meet with representatives of the National Weather Service and with emergency management managers in Davenport, Iowa on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. They will discuss how to interpret long range forecasts and examples of related research projects at the Iowa Flood Center.

The concept for the Iowa Flood Center is rooted in the monumental efforts that took place on The University of Iowa(UI) campus in June 2008 before, during, and after the Iowa and Cedar Rivers crested in Eastern Iowa.
